Simon J. Frankel, author of "Law, Ethics, and the Visual Arts," will be in conversation with Adine Varah, General Counsel at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Simon J. Frankel is a Judge on the Superior Court of California in San Francisco and teaches Art and the Law at Stanford Law School. He has spoken and published widely on issues concerning art and law. Before becoming a judge, he practiced law in San Francisco for twenty-eight years.
Adine Varah is Chief Legal Officer with over 25 years executive experience managing legal, business and governmental affairs and specializing in museums, art law, and the cultural sector. Accomplished attorney, arts advocate, Stanford Law School Lecturer on art & the law, public speaker, and published cartoonist and illustrator.
