'Tis the season to give extra thanks to you, our loyal audience, for your friendship, encouragement, patronage, and involvement in the life of the gallery. Thank you. We are grateful to you and to the extraordinary artists whose careers we represent and who have helped foster our relationship with our art community in the Bay Area and around the globe.
Join us on December 13th in celebrating the holidays and for a special screening of "The Wind" by Lenka Clayton and Phillip Andrew Lewis. "The Wind" is a feature-length film meticulously constructed from over 1,000 clips featuring wind taken from hundreds of other movies—from rom-coms to westerns, spy dramas, and horror movies. It is currently on view in the gallery's North Viewing Room, but the December 13th screening will be projected on a large scale in the gallery's main space.
This holiday celebration will be accompanied by a specialty cocktail and popcorn for guests to enjoy during the screening. Doors will open at 5:00 PM, and the event will conclude at 7:00 PM. *Please note that the timing for this event was previously listed as 3:00 to 6:00PM, but has been moved forward to 5:00 to 7:00PM. If you have any questions please email us at exit@cclarkgallery.com
Additionally, the gallery currently has a number of exhibitions on view: Lenka Clayton's "The Past" in our North Gallery; Katherine Vetne's "Between Worlds" in our South Gallery; Nanci Amaka's "Cleanse | Floors" in our Media Room; LigoranoReese's "Vanishing Finish" and "Borrowed Time" in EXiT; as well as a selection of works by Alejandro Cartagena, Josephine Taylor, Stephanie Syjuco, Marie Watt, and Wanxin Zhang in our Print and Drawing Room and entryway.
We look forward to celebrating the season and the successes of the year with all of you on December 13th. Come raise a glass with us!
Best wishes, Catharine Clark, Anton Stuebner, Zoë Reinhardt, Adam Clay, and Halden Willard
