EXiT at Catharine Clark Gallery is pleased to announce a focussed presentation of work by Llane Alexis. Alexis is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice transforms found and discarded materials into works that explore care, repair, and renewal. Working across a variety of mediums, Alexis reimagines everyday objects and remnants through labor-intensive processes that reveal new histories and possibilities. The exhibition will feature a selection of hand-made textiles, ceramics, and glass works by Alexis. Alexis, whose home and studio are currently in Oaxaca, Mexico, will be in attendace to talk about his practice, offering visitors an opportunity to learn more about his work and creative process on Saturday, November 21 from 2 to 4pm.
Exhibition runs through December 23rd.
